This is a photography magazine I created for young adults seeking to learn more about photography and get inspired. Since photos take center stage for this brand, I wanted the core visuals to be minimalist to be able to work with a large variety of photos. This would give the brand flexibility and let it complement many different styles of photography. I created a custom wordmark for the logo using a clean sans-serif, designed to change color/fill according to the accompanying photo. The magazine uses shape language that references different aspects of photography and is clean and simple like the typography, to not distract from the photography. For example, the cover is inspired by film, and the table of contents is inspired by a camera shutter.
